What we plan to do:

Welcome to Historic Paranormal Research, an organization dedicated to gleaning information from the past via research into the paranormal. 'Wait, what?' you may be asking yourself. Yes, that's right, we are a group of paranormal investigators whose goal is to use our research into the unknown to better understand the history of the world we live in today.

Given the historic significance of many venues purported to be haunted, especially in and around the New York City metropolitan area, we felt it would be prudent to investigate historic sites with a reputation of paranormal activity in order to learn more about the historic sites themselves.

"History teaches everything including the future." -- Alphonse de Lamartine

How we plan to do it:

Historic Paranormal Research is an organization focused on establishing relationships with purportedly haunted sites of historical significance with the intention of performing repeated scientific investigations at that location over a period of time. This allows the team to collect a large amount of data from that site from many periods of time thus increasing the liklihood of capturing useful information.

The Paranormal Investigation of NYC investigative team also offers lectures and training seminars on our investigations, investigative techniques and popular theories about the paranormal.

Currently the HPRG team is actively conducting several investigations at the immaculately preserved The Merchant's House Museum in New York City.
